Liverpool striker Diogo Jota has died in a road accident.
The tragic accident for the 28-year-old Portuguese footballer occurred in Zamora, Spain, at 00:30, writes A2.
In the car where the famous player was traveling was his 26-year-old brother, Andre, who also did not survive the accident.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, the Lamborghini in which Diogo Jota was travelling suffered a rear tire blowout while overtaking. As a result, the vehicle went off the road and caught fire.
The tragedy comes just days after Diogo Jota married his partner since 2012, Rute Cardoso.
The Portuguese got married on June 22 and left behind the 3 children he had with his partner: 4 years old, 2 years old and 7 months old.
