Armando Broja was injured on November 9th while Everton were playing against Peterborough in the FA Cup, and the extent of his injury is still unknown.
David Moyes, the new Everton coach, held his first press conference and, among other things, spoke about the Albanian striker's injury.
"The defender will have another scan, but we are waiting for the swelling to go down. Hopefully in a few days we will have a better idea of the injury," said Moyes.
Broja was loaned out by Chelsea while injured. After fully recovering, he earned a starting spot, but in his first game as a starter, he was injured when he hit the ground instead of the ball. The injury was minor and after a few days he returned to play, but this time he injured his ankle after planting his foot on the ground incorrectly after passing an opponent.
