Cristiano Ronaldo has taken advantage of the break in the championship in Saudi Arabia and traveled with his family to Lapland, the northernmost region of Finland, known for ski resorts and the Northern Lights.
The 39-year-old Portuguese continues to show excellent form this season, scoring 16 goals in 19 games for Al-Nassr. However, the Saudi side, led by former AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli, are having a difficult season and are fourth in the SPL table, 11 points adrift of leaders Al-Ittihad, of which they are also a part. Albanian Mario Mitaj.
Ronaldo has shared moments from his holidays on social networks. In one of the posts, he appears in the snow and temperatures of -20 degrees Celsius and only in shorts, showing off his impressive physique and wishing fans: "Merry Christmas everyone."
Along with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, and their children, Ronaldo visited Santa's New Year's House and took part in winter activities such as a snowmobile ride. However, as a professional footballer, he could not participate in extreme sports such as skiing, which are usually prohibited by contracts to avoid injury.
Unlike life in Riyadh, where temperatures in December are around 17 degrees Celsius, Lapland offers a cold experience with temperatures reaching as low as -30 degrees.
Ronaldo will return to action on January 9 when Al-Nassr face Al-Okhdood in the SPL. (A2 Televizion)
