For the second year in a row, Albania welcomed the new "Davis Cup", otherwise known as the tennis World Cup for national teams.
7 teams from different countries around the world, including the Albanian representative, challenged each other at the national tennis center "National Sport Park", in Tirana.
The national teams of Azerbaijan, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Kosovo, San Marino, Iceland, and Albania competed in the capital for the prestigious trophy known by all as the Tennis World Cup.
According to the organizers, there were many difficulties, but in the end the tournament met all expectations.
The Albanian national team debuted in the Davis Cup in 2010. Although the support is still not what the athletes would like, the level of tennis is increasing every year. (A2 Televizion)
