Whittier, Alaska is the only city in the world whose residents all live in a single building, called the Begitch Tower.
The total population of the town is 220 people and they all live in the same building.
The building consists of 14 floors and includes almost all services, such as a school, hospital, supermarket, police station, gym, cafe, and even a church.
This form of living inside a single building is chosen by Whittier residents, as the extreme weather conditions make it difficult to move outside most of the year. (A2 Televizion)
