"Black Skifters" can now fly without a pilot!

SkyOS is a new aviation operating system developed by Skyryse, a technology company based in El Segundo, California. The system is designed to make flying simpler and safer. It uses a fly-by-wire control system with three layers of redundancy and is controlled by a single controller and two touchscreens.

SkyOS always keeps the aircraft within a "safe environment," continuously processing pilot inputs, environmental conditions, aircraft status, and flight parameters. This system enables fully automated flight management, including the ability to maintain stable flight and conduct flights under air authority rules (IFR), writes A2 CNN.

A unique aspect of SkyOS is the optional piloting capability, which allows aircraft to fly without the need for a pilot on board. This feature is particularly important for military missions, which involve high-risk scenarios or transportation that does not involve passengers.

The agreement with the United States Army aims to improve the pilot training process and increase the operational capabilities of the Black Hawk helicopters, enabling missions to be carried out with less risk to military personnel. This could revolutionize operational strategies in war zones and cargo transport missions. The Black Hawk is one of the most advanced helicopters of the American forces, where so far Albania has managed to buy two of them, while it aims to buy 6 of them. Also, Albin Kurti has expressed in recent statements that Kosovo will also buy such helicopters. (A2 Televizion)
