Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Trump, made a revelation yesterday in Belgrade: Kosovo does not exist.
In a deep and quite enlightening conversation with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Don Jr. published a map showing Kosovo as part of Serbia, a discovery that surprised even the American satellites that helped NATO in 1999.
Trump Jr. has apparently discovered a truth that neither Bill Clinton, nor Tony Blair, nor the US itself, with 18 allies, understood when they bombed Belgrade to stop the campaign of ethnic cleansing. Question:
If Kosovo is not recognized by Trump Jr., did the 1999 war really happen?
Were 1 million Albanians discovered by Milosevic's military machine or was this fabrication/fake news?
Was Serbia, after 1990, the instigator of the four wars in the Balkans, or did it fall on the neck of the unjust, the Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians and Albanians?
The media in Russia and Serbia immediately saw this statement as a turn in American policy. Perhaps, in their opinion, this is the first step to revisit the events of the 1990s, to undo NATO decisions and, perhaps, to declare that Milosevic was a historical misunderstanding. After all, if history can be rewritten with a map in a podcast, anything is possible.
Vučić, a master of acting as a historical victim, used the moment to remind us that international law only applies when it suits Serbia.
The decision of the International Court of Justice (initiated by Serbia) recognizing Kosovo's Independence is no longer valid. Meanwhile, the Kosovo government is trying to find out if there is any manual to regain existence after an accidental deletion from a Trump Jr. podcast map.
One question remains: Will the story continue to exist if Don Jr. doesn't recognize it?
We can get the answer in the next podcast, when it is revealed that Berlin is located in Austria, that World War II was simply a misunderstanding between neighbors, and Hitler was a peacemaker who was dragged into the war by warmongers like Churchill! (A2 Televizion)
