Violence in the Serbian Parliament, Vučić: Aggressors will be held accountable

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić reacted to the unprecedented incident in the Serbian Parliament, where several deputies were injured by opposition attacks with tear gas and hard objects. He described the incident as a difficult day for Serbia and for every citizen of the country.

In a statement to the media, Vučić stressed that what happened was an act of bullying and hooliganism, which had not been seen since the establishment of the multi-party system in Serbia 35 years ago. He demanded that the perpetrators of the violence be held criminally and legally responsible and face the consequences of their actions.

"Today is a difficult day for Serbia, for every citizen of the country. We are witnessing something we have not seen since the establishment of the party system. This has not happened since the creation of the multi-party system," Vučić said.

The Serbian President also demanded that the prosecution act swiftly and review the case, ensuring that all those responsible for the violence are held accountable before the law.

This incident has caused great concern in Serbian politics and has sparked a strong debate about the use of violence as a political tool.
