A dangerous incident occurred today to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, while he was traveling to a planned tour in Vojvodina in an official vehicle.
A luxury, armored Audi vehicle suffered a tire blowout while driving at high speed. Tragedy was averted when the tire apparently hit a specific obstacle on the road and burst, causing the car to skid.
After the incident, Vučić got out of the car and transferred to another vehicle, continuing on his way to the scheduled meeting.
At a rally in Kikinda, Vučić said that the car tire had burst on the way to Mokrin.
"After the visit to Melenci, I was going to Mokrin before the big rally in Kikinda and I was on that road with my car. If there was a flat tire, it is up to the authorities to determine and they will determine it. I arrived in Mokrin and switched to another car," he said.
Law enforcement agencies have arrived at the scene and investigations into the case are ongoing. (A2 Televizion)
