The decision to sentence the separatist leader of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has worried Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. Despite difficult weather conditions, the Serbian leader traveled to Banja Luka to meet his counterpart, Milorad Dodik, who was sanctioned by the United States several years ago.

"I know how difficult it is for Dodik, I saw tears in his eyes, I know how much injustice hurts and oppresses him. This is the day when they said they could try us without a trial, without rights and justice, this is the day when the entire Serbian people were attacked. We must be patient and tolerant," said the Serbian President.

For his part, Milorad Dodik gathered the crowd in an attempt to justify himself and at the same time threaten those who condemned him, writes A2.

"They messed up badly with what they did in Sarajevo. They are completely naive. I have to tell you that we expected this as a reason for political action, a reaction. Today you no longer have the Bosnia and Herzegovina that you imagined. We offer you a constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina. You have a very short time to accept a constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina," declared Milorad Dodik.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted a resolution overturning the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and declared that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina committed a coup d'état because it issued a decision based on the decision of an unelected and non-Christian parliament of its Assembly.

Meanwhile, Russia has not stood idly by. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the conviction of the leader of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, will have catastrophic consequences for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for the Balkans as a whole. According to what Belgrade media reports, government officials in Moscow assess that the charges against Dodik were brought on the basis of a law that, for Russia, was arbitrarily imposed by the High Representative, Christian Schmidt.  (A2 Televizion)
