US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has planned a visit to the Western Balkans this year. The announcement was made on Friday by Montenegrin Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimovic, writes A2.
Ibrahimovic met with Rubio on the first day of the meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member countries in Brussels.
"Secretary Rubio shared plans for a visit to the Western Balkans, including Montenegro, which will be a valuable opportunity to deepen strategic relations and reaffirm the commitment to improving bilateral relations," the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the social network X.
A two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers is being held in Brussels, where, among other things, it will be decided whether member countries will increase defense spending from the current minimum of 2 percent of gross domestic product. (A2 Televizion)
