The United States of America does not want Russian companies to manage Serbia's oil industry! This is what the US assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, James O'Brien, said in an interview with Serbian Public Radio and Television.
He made it clear that the only condition acceptable to Washington when it comes to the NIS issue, which is sanctioned by the US, is that the share of Russian ownership is zero.
According to him, the American sanctions are not intended to harm Serbia, but Russia, and that more than 300 Moscow companies have been targeted.
O'Brien has described the issue of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia as the most sensitive, as according to him, there is an opportunity to propose a vision of how Serbs in Kosovo can live as citizens with full rights.
"The decisions will naturally belong to the people of Serbia, who must decide if they are ready to take the measures that Europe expects, that is, the recognition of the borders", were the words of O'brien. (A2 Televizion)
