Serbia is engulfed today in the fever of a general strike, with students continuing their organized protest with blockades, as they had warned in previous days.
In addition to faculties in all cities in Serbia, some primary and secondary schools, many companies, cultural institutions, restaurants, small businesses and organizations also stopped working today.
But in Belgrade, an incident occurred during the protest, as a young woman on Jurija Gagarina Street drove her Citroen car into the crowd, leaving two people injured.
A video later surfaced on social media of plainclothes police officers stopping a woman driving a car. The 26-year-old was taken to the police station after injuring two students who were guarding the crowd during the blockade in New Belgrade. (A2 Televizion)
