The rainfall of the last few hours has caused major flooding in several areas of Italy.
The most problematic situation is reported on the island of Elba and Portoferraio, where authorities confirm that 65 mm of rain fell in just one hour, increasing the risk of landslides.
The municipality invites citizens not to use cars and not to attempt to leave as the access roads are blocked.
