Andrew Tate and his brother 'harvest' important victories in the Court

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has secured a legal victory today after a Romanian court refused to try him on human trafficking charges.

According to foreign media, the Briton and his brother Tristan, who say they are innocent, are accused of creating an organized criminal network in early 2021 in Romania and Britain.

Prosecutors allege that 38-year-old Tate, his 36-year-old brother and two women formed a criminal organization and sexually exploited several victims.

The ruling comes after a Romanian court found 'irregularities' in Tate's lawsuit in mid-November, ordering prosecutors to correct them.

On Thursday, the Court of Appeal in Bucharest decided "to return to the Public Prosecution... the case in which the indictment was filed, with which the accused were sent to trial," it said in a statement.

"They put me in jail, took my money, my cars and all my freedom. They made my worst enemy on the street, dragging my name through the dirt with accusations of the lowest, dirtiest crimes a man can be accused of," said Andrew Tate in the first reaction.

"This is all a lie," he said in a statement, vowing to "fight to the end to ... prove my innocence."

His brother Tristan said 'the decision to reject the prosecution's case highlights fundamental flaws in the evidence presented'.

Tate's lawyer, Eugen Vidineac, hailed the court's decision as a 'significant legal victory' in a statement.

Andrew Tate also shared his court victory on social media, writing: 'I don't long for freedom. I long for justice.'

The Tates brothers also face charges of rape and assault in separate cases in Britain, where they have also been accused of tax evasion.

Earlier this week, UK police in a separate case won a legal bid to seize more than 2 million pounds ($2.5 million) from the Tate brothers to repay millions in unpaid taxes.

Additionally, a Romanian court in August placed Andrew Tate under house arrest and his brother Tristan under judicial control over a new investigation involving minors.

Prosecutors are investigating "crimes of forming an organized criminal group, trafficking of minors", "sexual relations with minors" and "money laundering".

Andrew Tate moved to Romania years ago after initially starting a camera business in the UK.

In 2016, Tate appeared on Britain's Big Brother TV show, but was axed after a video emerged showing him assaulting a woman.

He then took to social media platforms to promote his divisive views.

Giving advice on how to be successful, along with misogynistic and sometimes violent principles, Tate's videos have made him one of the most popular influencers in the world.

His 'Cobratate' account on X has more than 10 million followers. (A2 Televizion)
