A German citizen has been handcuffed by police at the Kakavija Border Crossing Point after being caught with a quantity of cannabis in his vehicle.
The 43-year-old was attempting to cross into Greece, and cannabis was found in his car. A 25-year-old resident of Greece was also arrested for cannabis sativa in his car.
"They arrested the German citizen Ch. A., 43 years old, resident of Germany, after a quantity of Cannabis was found in his vehicle at the Kakavije checkpoint, on the exit from the Republic of Albania;
-the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen K. Dh., 25 years old, resident of Greece, after a quantity of Cannabis was found on him during a physical search at the Kakavije Border Crossing Point, on the exit from the Republic of Albania," the police announced.
