Iran's attacks against Israel will continue, with targets expanding to include US bases in the region in the coming days.

The news was announced by Iran's Fars news agency, citing senior Iranian military officials.

"This confrontation will not end with last night's limited actions and Iran's attacks will continue, and this action will be very painful and regrettable for the aggressors," Fars reported, citing senior military officials. The aggressors will be the target of a decisive and large-scale response from Iran," the Iranian Fars news agency reported.

Iran also announced the deaths of two more generals. Officers Gholamresa Mehrabi and Mehdi Rabbani, two senior members of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, were killed in the Israeli strikes, state radio reported. Mehrabi served as deputy chief of the Intelligence Department in the General Staff, while Rabbani served as deputy chief of operations. This brings the total number of confirmed general deaths to eight, A2 reports.

Meanwhile, international Iranian experts interpreted the major Israeli attack as a deliberate attempt to derail nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran. "One of the main reasons for the Israeli attack on Iran was precisely to prevent a possible agreement between Iran and the US," wrote government-critical analyst Sadegh Sibakalam in X, quoted by German media outlet Die Welt.

All those who want to overthrow the Islamic Republic have always been concerned about the possibility of a deal between Iran and America. Washington and Tehran have been negotiating the controversial nuclear program for about two months, but recently without progress. A new round of talks was scheduled for Sunday. (A2 Televizion)
