The US president has ordered an airstrike against terrorists in Somalia. According to US President Donald Trump, the terrorists were killed in a US airstrike against positions of the Islamic State terrorist organization in Somalia.
Trump wrote on Platform X that he had ordered the airstrikes. According to the Pentagon, IS fighters in the Golis Mountains in the semi-autonomous region of northern Somalia were the target of the strikes.
Trump spoke of a planned attack that the US military had long had on its horizon and a threat to the US and its allies. It remains unclear who specifically targeted the attack.
The message to ISIS and other terrorist groups is: “We will find you and kill you.” A struggle for supremacy has erupted in the region between various Islamic groups. (A2 Televizion)
