A 57-year-old woman from Fiume in Croatia was found dead in her home in the center of Como, more than a year after she passed away.
She lived alone and, apparently, no one had looked for her during this period. Her body was found by a municipal employee who was checking the building for some structural damage and felt a strong wind that led him to Nirvana's lifeless body.
At the funeral ceremony, which was held by don Giusto, a priest from the Parish of San Martino in Rebbio, there was a powerful appeal: "Don't leave alone those who are in need."
This case has shocked the local community and raised questions about the isolation of individuals and the need for more care and solidarity in society, especially for those who live alone. (A2 Televizion)
