Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted for the first time after Donald Trump's earlier criticism regarding peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
According to foreign media, the Ukrainian President said that "emotions have run high today," but added that all sides "expressed their views and respectfully accepted each other's positions" in today's talks in London, writes A2 CNN.
"The American side shared its vision. Ukraine and other Europeans presented their contributions. And we hope that it is precisely this joint work that will lead to lasting peace," he wrote on the social network 'X'.
"Ukraine will always act in accordance with its constitution," he added, before saying "we are absolutely confident that our partners, in particular the US, will act in accordance with their strong decisions." (A2 Televizion)
