White House: Trump is frustrated with talks, Zelensky is moving in the wrong

President Donald Trump is "frustrated" and his patience "is running low" over talks to end the war in Ukraine, his press secretary said.

According to foreign media, Caroline Leavitt told reporters that the US President "wants to do what is right for the world" and "wants to see peace."

"He wants to see a stop to the killings, but it needs to be done by both sides of the war," she added, before saying that Volodymyr Zelenskyy "seems to be moving in the wrong direction."

Recall that earlier this afternoon Trump accused the President of Ukraine of prolonging the war, for not accepting the relinquishment of Crimea as part of peace negotiations, writes A2 CNN.

This move followed comments by Trump's vice president, JD Vance, who once again raised the threat of the US withdrawing from efforts to broker a peace deal.

"We have issued a very clear proposal to both the Russians and the Ukrainians, and it is time for them to either say yes or for the United States to walk away from this process," Vance told reporters, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
