The most influential tech titans have all lined up for a prime spot inside the Capitol Rotunda to watch President Donald Trump's inauguration.
Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai, who hold the reins of some of the world's most powerful networks, such as X, Meta and Google, are there.
Also present in the front row are Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez, as well as cabinet nominees like Senator Marco Rubio and Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The presence of these heavyweights highlights their closeness to Trump that has been consolidated after his victory in November and meetings at his Mar-a-Lago complex.
Trump's family members are also in the front row at the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremony.
The children - Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Tiffany Trump, Eric Trump and Barron Trump - are all there. Former presidents and first ladies - including Bill Clinton and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as George W. Bush and Laura Bush - are also pictured, while former President Barack Obama is alone without his wife Michelle.
"Today we will witness the peaceful transfer of power," Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar said at the start of the inauguration ceremony.
"Welcome to the 60th presidential inauguration. Today, President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Vance will take their oaths of office. And we will witness the peaceful transfer of power at the heart of our democracy," Klobuchar said. (A2 Televizion)
