Ukrainians are skeptical that the next president of the United States, Donald Trump, can help stop the war with Russia before his inauguration. In statements to the Reuters news agency, there is little optimism about the new American president. Another young Ukrainian believes that Trump can help end the war, but like him, it won't be long-term.
"I think Trump can help end the war, but it won't be quick and it's not a fact that it would be in our favor. I can't say anything about it. On the front line, everything is terrible," said Anton Dubchal, a student in Kiev.
The new manager from Ukraine, Halina Kraskivska, emphasizes that Trump will not bring anything positive.
"We would like to hope that Trump will be the person who will help us end the war, but we have great doubts whether it will happen. We hope for the best, but there will probably not be quick and positive changes," said Halina Kraskivska, Human Resources Manager .
