After booking more than 120 free flights by posing as an airline employee, a jury last week found Tiron Alexander, of South Florida, guilty and now faces up to 30 years in prison.
Prosecutors allege he abused an employee-only program by falsely claiming to be a flight attendant.
This trick allowed Alexander to make 34 flights without spending a penny between 2018 and 2024.
He had uploaded false information regarding his "employment" and upon investigation was found to be an employee of seven different airlines, using 30 fake badge numbers and employment dates.
During the trial, it was revealed that Alexander had also posed as a flight attendant for three other airlines, further expanding the scope of the fraud.
He was found guilty of wire transfer fraud and unlawful entry into a secure area of an airport under false pretenses.
His sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 25, the US Department of Justice announced on Tuesday. (A2 Televizion)
