As bodies are being pulled from the rubble of a skyscraper in Thailand, in Myanmar, an official has said there are many victims at a major hospital in the capital Naypyidaw.
Social media posts show collapsed buildings in the city of Mandalay, which is about 17 kilometers from the epicenter of the 7.7-magnitude earthquake.

The video of the collapse of the historic Ava or Sagaing bridge is also dramatic.
The bridge was built 91 years ago, during the British colonial period, and crossed the Irrawaddy River connecting the Mandalay and Sagaing regions.
