Police have identified the girl, who was known as Baby Jane Doe for decades, who was found dead in 1988. Her name is Kenyata Odom, and her mother, Evelyn Odom, and her then-boyfriend, Ulister Sanders, were arrested and charged with murder.
The five-year-old girl whose body was found buried in concrete in the US 35 years ago has finally been identified, police said, and her mother and her live-in boyfriend have been charged with murder.
DNA tests and a key piece of information obtained earlier this year finally gave police the information they were missing in identifying the young victim, known for decades only as Baby Jane Doe, who turned out to be Kenyatta Odom .

She was killed in her hometown of Albany, Georgia, and her body was dumped about 100 miles from the town of Waycross. On December 21, 1988, the girl was found among broken furniture and other debris left in the woods by a man who crashed into a television cabinet filled with concrete.
He called the Ware County Sheriff's Office, and officers arrived the same day and began an investigation that had largely stalled for more than three decades.
The girl's mother, 56-year-old Evelyn Odom, and Ulister Sanders, her boyfriend at the time, were arrested Thursday and remained in custody Monday. They are charged with aggravated murder, first degree child cruelty, concealment of death and other charges. (A2 Televizion)
