Iran has issued a new threat to any "third party" that considers getting involved in its conflict with Israel, threatening an "immediate" response.
According to foreign media, Iran's Supreme National Security Council issued a statement on Thursday afternoon, announcing that "the confrontation with the enemy will continue until compensation is paid."
As the conflict between Iran and Israel continues for a week, the council said that Iran has plans for different scenarios, writes A2 CNN.
Without mentioning the US or any other country, the council said: “In the event of a third party interfering in this aggression, they will be confronted immediately according to a specific plan.”
US President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of entering the conflict, but has signaled that he has not yet made a decision.
He has reviewed attack plans but is waiting to see if Tehran backs down on its nuclear program, a person familiar with the matter told CNN. (A2 Televizion)
