"Russia will not soften its offensive against Ukraine because it does not think that the global community stands in solidarity against it," said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who ruled out the possibility of peace at any price with Russia.
In an interview with the British tabloid The Sun, Zelensky said that he believed that Moscow will continue its aggression until the US and China very seriously tell them to leave Ukrainian territory.
So, in a video message on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, Zelensky vowed that they will not allow their freedom to be taken away.
"Our people are defending themselves and Europe right now. Because we have dignity and we will not allow our freedom to be taken away from us."
Zelensky fears waning support from the international community amid another simmering conflict in the Middle East and the protracted war in Ukraine.
However, in a message that the United States will continue to stand by Kiev, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin made an unannounced visit to Ukraine.
While there he announced a new $100 million military aid package. It includes High Mobility Artillery Missile Systems (HIMARS) and additional munitions.
During Austin's visit, Moskanuk halted attacks in Ukraine hitting the regions of Donetsk and Kharkiv, where at least 3 people were killed and 8 others were wounded. The rockets reportedly hit a hospital in the town of Selidove in Donetsk and a coal mine. (A2 Televizion)
