The United Nations General Assembly has approved a budget of $3.72 billion for 2025, an increase of $1 million over the Secretary-General's initial proposal.
This budget will support a number of key UN programmes, including political affairs, justice and international law, regional development cooperation, human rights and humanitarian affairs, and public information.
In addition, a new program has been approved that aims to assist landlocked developing countries by addressing their specific challenges for development and global economic integration.
This program reflects the UN's commitment to improve support to the most vulnerable countries, helping to empower them economically and socially. (A2 Televizion)
