Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal spoke to reporters today regarding recent political developments, where US President Donald Trump decided to cut off aid to Kiev.
Shmyhal says Ukraine has had "various times over these three years, since Russia began its full-scale invasion," when aid has been delayed.
Regarding the continuation of the fighting, he says: "We Ukrainians have no other choice... this defense does not make us stop because the enemy does not stop either."
"We are confident that we are supplying our military with everything necessary, regardless of the circumstances," he further said.
This year, Ukraine plans to increase domestic weapons production by 50%, he adds, saying this could meet "all our needs" in naval technology and land-based drones.
"Ukraine is also producing its own artillery and will meet all its needs within this year," Shmyhal adds. (A2 Televizion)
