Ukraine is ready to give up territory to Russia. This fact was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during an interview with the well-known British media outlet "The Guardian".

Zelenskyy links Ukraine's fate to Donald Trump's commitment and that if the latter brings Russia down in negotiations, then Kiev will give up territories, but this time in the form of an exchange with Russia.

"If Trump manages to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table, then Ukraine plans to offer Russia a direct territory swap, giving up the land that Kiev has held in the Kursk region of Russia. We will exchange one territory for another. I don't know which territory, but we'll see. But all our territories are important to us, there is no priority," Zelensky declared, writes A2 CNN.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine's security will depend only on whether the United States is also in the game, since the EU without the US is not enough. If Donald Trump withdraws US support for Ukraine, Europe alone will not be able to bridge the gap. There are voices that say that Europe can provide security guarantees without the Americans, and I always say no. Security guarantees without America are not real security guarantees, "said Zelensky.

Zelensky will travel to the Munich Security Conference, where he expects to meet US Vice President JD Vance, one of the enemies of Ukraine in Trump's inner circle.

At last year's conference, Vance, then a senator, refused to meet with Zelenskyy, and he has previously said he doesn't really care what happens with Ukraine, one way or the other. (A2 Televizion)
