Nine people were kidnapped by an armed group that raided an orphanage south of Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince.
According to media reports, the kidnapped people are Irish missionary Gena Heraty, who has worked with the organization "Nos Petits Freres et Soeurs" for more than 30 years, seven Haitian workers and a three-year-old disabled child.
The attackers broke through a fence and entered the building without firing a single shot. Immediately after the raid, they threatened and forced the hostages to leave the building on foot. (A2 Televizion)
