After Zelensky, Trump "pounces" on Starmer and Macron: They have done

Donald Trump has claimed that Sir Keir Starmer 'has done nothing' to end the war in Ukraine - just days before he welcomes the prime minister to the White House.

Following the American wave of attacks on every social network against Ukraine and its leader, Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump has also begun to criticize British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron.

At the height of a transatlantic row, before Starmer and Macron arrived in Washington to meet, the US President lashed out against their “approach” to Ukraine.

"They did nothing to end the war. The war is going on, there are no meetings with Russia, there is nothing. They have done nothing. Macron is my friend, and I have met with the prime minister, he is a very good guy... [but] nobody has done anything. I have been watching this situation go on for years and I do it for one reason, I hate killing. I hate seeing those young people killed," Trump said in an interview with Fox News.

These comments angered both the French prime minister and president, who responded by doubling down on their support for Kiev.

Macron also warned Trump not to be 'weak' in the face of Vladimir Putin, amid fears that the US president has sided with Moscow during peace talks.

Meanwhile, Macron is expected to fly to America for talks with the American president on Monday, while the British prime minister will travel to the US later in the week. (A2 Televizion)
