Donald Trump has been chosen "Person of the Year" by the famous Time magazine. The competition for person of the year included US Vice President Kamala Harris, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, billionaire Elon Musk and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Time also named Trump its Person of the Year in 2016. Pop star Taylor Swift received the title last year. The Republican president-elect built his fortune as a New York real estate investor before entering politics.
During his first term as president, he measured his success in part by the strength of the stock market, which has so far welcomed his re-election. (A2 Televizion)
