An air incident was averted today with an Air India flight.
According to foreign media, it is reported that a plane returned to Hong Kong on Monday immediately after takeoff due to a technical problem in the air.
This situation comes a few days after another airline plane crashed and at least 270 people died, writes A2 CNN.
Air India said in a statement that the New Delhi-bound plane landed safely in Hong Kong and was undergoing screening "as an added precaution."
The Hong Kong Airport Authority said in a separate statement that flight AI315 returned to the southern Chinese city's airport at around 1:00 p.m., writes A2 CNN.
The plane was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the same model as the London-bound flight that hit a medical college dormitory in a residential area of the northwestern Indian city of Ahmedabad on Thursday. (A2 Televizion)
