Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Alexander Troufanov, a former Hamas hostage, in the Kremlin yesterday.
According to foreign media, the Russian-Israeli spent 498 days in captivity in Gaza after being taken hostage during the October 7 attacks, along with his mother and fiancée.
Later, both of them were released in a previous agreement between Israel and Hamas for the release of hostages and prisoners, writes A2 CNN.
In a video distributed on Russian state media, the moment when Putin meets with him and other people is clearly visible.
We recall that after the October 7 attack two years ago organized by Hamas in Israel, around 1,400 people were killed and over 230 others were taken hostage. (A2 Televizion)
