A tragic event, worthy of Hollywood movie scripts, has been recorded in Parma, Italy. Media across the Adriatic report that a 58-year-old man, after stabbing his wife with a knife with the intention of killing her, fled the scene, but died in a car accident.
Dhahri Abdelhakim, originally from Tunisia, injured the mother of his children in her apartment, in San Secondo Parmense, a town in the Bassa Parmense area, and tried to escape, but died after his car collided head-on with a truck.
The road accident that claimed the 58-year-old's life occurred on provincial road 10, not far from the house where the woman was stabbed. The two people traveling in the truck were seriously injured.
Meanwhile, media reports that the woman's condition is serious, despite the couple's children, 8 and 6 years old, alerting neighbors, who quickly called doctors. (A2 Televizion)
