US President Donald Trump will deliver his first major speech today to global business and political leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
According to foreign media, he will begin speaking at 4:00 PM UK time, but it is not yet clear what he will discuss.
Around 60 heads of state are expected to be in Davos, including Prime Minister Edi Rama, writes A2 CNN.
The World Economic Forum has been a leading proponent of the liberal economic consensus and globalization, under direct threat from Trump's second term.
His nationalist instincts have been on full display since he took office on Monday, cracking down on immigration and threatening to impose steep tariffs on the European Union, China, Mexico and Canada.
Trump is also moving in several other directions, which altogether constitutes a fundamental shift in American policy. (A2 Televizion)
