The president-elect in the United States, Donald Trump, has appointed lawyer Alina Habba as White House adviser.
In a reaction on the "Truth" social network, Trump described Habba as "a tireless advocate for justice, a fierce defender of the rule of law and a valuable adviser to the campaign and transition team."
Habba recently attacked Joe Biden for pardoning his son Hunter. The lawyer represented Trump in several lawsuits against him, including one for sexual harassment and defamation against journalist and author Jean Carroll.
Former deputy national security adviser in the first Trump administration, Michael Antonm will be the director of policy planning at the State Department instead.
"Michael has extensive experience in government, the private sector and academia. He has spent the last eight years explaining what an America First foreign policy really means," Trump wrote. (A2 Televizion)
