In a post a few moments ago on his "Truth Social" platform, US President Donald Trump wrote that he believes China will reach an agreement on the potential 104% tariffs that the US has threatened to impose.
According to foreign media, he writes: "China also wants to make a deal, but they don't know how to start it. We are waiting for their call. It will happen!".
Trump adds that he just spoke with the acting president of South Korea about the tariffs, writes A2 CNN.
"We talked about their tremendous and unsustainable surplus, tariffs, shipbuilding, large-scale purchase of US LNG, their joint venture in an Alaskan pipeline, and paying for the massive military protection we provide to South Korea," the US president wrote.
He adds that a team from South Korea has left for Washington to negotiate an agreement and things, according to him, are looking good. (A2 Televizion)
