United States President Donald Trump has said that the European Union made the right decision to suspend counter-tariffs against the United States.
According to foreign media, Trump said that the EU is being treated as a single bloc when it comes to tariffs and not as individual countries.
Trump said he appreciates the EU, which he said is "very tough, but very smart," saying they decided to "restrain a little" with their retaliation after seeing how Trump treated China.
"They decided to hold back. I thought they were very smart," Trump added, writes A2 CNN.
Recall that yesterday Trump suspended the tariffs imposed a week ago on many countries around the world and replaced them with a basic tariff of 10%. This move did not only affect China, on which Trump imposed tariffs that go up to 45%. (A2 Televizion)
