President Donald Trump has explained the reasons why he suspended tariffs on a large part of the world's countries.
According to foreign media, Donald Trump said that he posted earlier on social media for calm in various countries around the world after the tariffs, as according to him, he thought the leaders of these countries were getting scared and moving out of line.
"They were getting, you know, getting a little upset, a little scared," Trump said, writes A2 CNN.
He continued by saying that "nothing is finalized yet" and added that China wants to make a deal with the US, but according to him, it doesn't know how.
"China wants to make a deal, they just don't know how to do it," he said further, writes A2 CNN.
"They are very proud people and President XI is a proud man. They are in the process of discovery, but they want to make a deal," Trump concluded his speech, shortly after increasing tariffs on China to 125%. (A2 Televizion)
