A Ukrainian drone attack occurred in Russia's southern Krasnodar region yesterday evening.
According to foreign media, in a post on Telegram, the regional governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, described the attack as "massive" and said that at least 12 houses had been damaged. It is also learned that a woman was injured.
Russian news channel SHOT Telegram also reported that the bombing had sparked a fire at the Ilsky oil refinery in the area.
A source in Ukraine's SBU security service has now claimed that drones hit a pumping station and oil refinery.
They said at least 20 explosions were heard and that pumping operations had been suspended due to the damage, writes A2 CNN.
The SBU source claimed that the targeted facilities had helped to support Russia's military action in Ukraine.
The Caspian Pipeline consortium confirmed in a statement that its Kropotkinskaya pumping station, which supports Kazakhstan's main oil export pipeline to Russia, had been damaged.
The pipeline, whose shareholders include US energy giants Chevron and ExxonMobil, handles almost all of Kazakhstan's oil exports, which account for about 1% of global daily supply. (A2 Televizion)
