A Russian Su-35 fighter jet has been shot down over Ukraine, Kiev's air force announced.
According to foreign media, it is reported that the plane was reportedly shot down after an operation around Kursk.
In a statement on Telegram, the air force said: "This morning, June 7, 2025, as a result of a successful Air Force operation in the direction of Kursk, a Russian Su-35 fighter jet was shot down!
Together towards victory!"
Recall that in recent days Moscow has carried out major airstrikes across Ukraine, in retaliation for Kiev's attacks deep inside Russia.
