Prince William, dressed in military uniform and beret, arrived at the Tapa military camp in Estonia, just 90 miles from the Russian border, to take part in a major NATO exercise. As Colonel of the Mercian Regiment, he visited British troops who will carry out a six-month mission in the region.

During the military exercise, the Prince of Wales climbed into a Challenger 2 tank and then travelled in a Warrior combat vehicle to get a first-hand look at the operation. British and Estonian troops simulated an attack on an enemy base using heavy weapons, smoke grenades and surveillance drones.

After the demonstration, William had the opportunity to drive an Archer, a new generation artillery system with a range of over 50km. His visit is intended to show Britain's support for Estonia and NATO, particularly against the backdrop of tensions with Russia.

The prince also met Estonian and British soldiers, discussing their experiences. The visit comes at a critical time as Estonia supports Ukraine and prepares for any potential threat from Russia, considering the British military presence essential to its security. (A2 Televizion)
