VIDEO/ A fistfight broke out in a restaurant in Abu Dhabi between Georgian MPs

A big fight broke out in a restaurant in the United Arab Emirates, specifically in Abu Dhabi, between deputies of the "Georgian Dream" party and a Georgian citizen.

According to foreign media, specifically, according to what a Georgian journalist reports on her personal account on social networks, two deputies of the pro-Russian party "Georgian Dream", Irakli Zarkua and Viktor Sanikidze, were in Dubai despite the months-long crisis with which facing their place to see the Coldplay concert up close.

In the restaurant of the hotel where they were staying, they were noticed by a Georgian citizen with permanent residence in the United Arab Emirates. The citizen approached him with his cell phone, recording the moment and asking him: "What do you have to say about what happened yesterday in Batumi? What do you have to say about the torture of protesters in Tbilisi?'

In the video, it can be seen that Sanikidze replies: "You are a big man, go away..." and drops the citizen's cell phone on the floor, writes A2 CNN.

This move angered Lasha Gabitashvili (citizen) who followed the deputies to the hotel parking lot with his cell phone and exchanged insults for a few seconds... The citizen decided to publish the first of two videos that shows the indifference to what is being done by those who support the "return to Moscow" as characterized by the political crisis that Georgia has been experiencing for months with massive demonstrations in major urban centers.

The video seems to have provoked reactions in Georgia and angered MPs and leaders of the pro-Russian party... The next day, without any justification, one of the MPs spotted Gabitashvili having breakfast with his partner and assaulted him. . All the eyes of those present were amazed at what was happening at the scene. The tension escalated and as seen in the video, a total of five people tried to severely beat the Georgian citizen. As the footage shows, Gabitashvili resisted and managed to give multiple blows with his hands and plates to anyone who tried to hit him.

Despite the very strict legal framework for such actions in the United Arab Emirates, the two Georgian MPs and their "large" entourage were not arrested and are said to have returned to Georgia. The Georgian citizen has filed a lawsuit against the local authorities that allowed them to escape, writes A2 CNN.
