Two Israeli embassy employees were shot dead outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., according to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
"Two Israeli embassy employees were senselessly murdered near the Jewish Museum in Washington DC. We are investigating to gather more information to share. We pray for the families of the victims. We will bring the perpetrator to justice," she wrote on X, A2 CNN reports.
According to officials speaking to local media, a man was seen walking near the Jewish Museum in Washington before opening fire, hitting a man and a woman. The suspect also reportedly shouted "Freedom for Palestine" during his arrest. (A2 Televizion)
