North Korea's losses in Russia's war against Ukraine now reach 4,000 soldiers. The figures were revealed today by Volodymyr Zelensky at the opening of the 25th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukrainian defense issues at the American base "Ramstein", in Germany.
The Ukrainian president also said that Donald Trump's arrival in the White House on January 20 opens a "new chapter" for Europeans, who should "cooperate even more" , assuring that he sees it as "a period of opportunity ".

The Ukrainian president even said that "the deployment of Western military forces in Ukraine will contribute to pushing Russia towards peace" , leaving open the much-debated possibility that was floated as an idea by Emmanuel Macron months ago.
"The deployment of allied military forces is one of the best tools to pressure Russia towards peace. Let's be more practical in implementing it," he said.
