Kosovo Diaspora sets record, 50.91% of expatriates voted by 3:00 PM

The voting process in Kosovo's diplomatic missions is taking place smoothly and no problems have been reported.

At 1:00 PM local time in Kosovo, the voting process also began in the United States of America and Canada.

Of the 20,324 voters registered to vote at diplomatic missions, 10,306 voters or 50.91% have voted by 3:00 p.m.

Voting is taking place in 30 different countries and appears to be ongoing with significant participation from the diaspora.

Voting began at 07:00 and will last until 19:00 local time in each country.

According to data so far, some of the cities with the highest participation are:

Istanbul, Turkey (62.35%)

Zurich, Switzerland (61.70%)

Bern, Switzerland (59.67%)

Geneva, Switzerland (59.94%)

Oslo, Norway (57.87%)

In Germany, where a large number of the Kosovar diaspora is located, participation has also been high so far, with cities such as Munich (49.34%), Hamburg (51.65%) and Frankfurt (54.24%).

It is expected that by the time the polls close at 7:00 PM, the turnout percentage will increase even more. (A2 Televizion)
