The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has called on the citizens of Kosovo from 18:00 until midnight to rationalize the consumption of electricity. According to him, during the last few days there have been numerous concerns from citizens regarding the reductions in electricity, concerns which have been addressed to the operators.
"During the last few days, we have received many concerns regarding the supply of electronic energy in some municipalities of Kosovo. We have constantly conveyed these concerns to the operators of the transmission and distribution network KOST and KEDS and have asked them for maximum commitment in several directions. Intense dedication in the field to solve technical problems of the network such as breakdowns and congestion management, clear and frequent communication with citizens and urgent finalization of the works in the new substation of Ferizaj, which will solve the problem of Ferizaj and it will have an impact on other municipalities as well. As every previous winter, we ask the citizens to rationalize the consumption of electricity, especially during the hours of 18:00 to midnight for the sake of security of supply for themselves and for our whole country", he says.
